As a business owner, you'll be able to take the rentals which are a better value to you and disregard the ones that just aren't worth it. Trust me, when you can turn away a customer because they are too high mantenance it feels good.

 

You may also find other reason to get into the rental business. Some advantages are ease of schedule and ability to work when you want to work. There are also disadvantages like committing to your schedule. Once you've made arrangements to deliver a piece of equipment, you must delivery. You reputation is on the line. You must be prepared to deal with the unexpected ups and downs of the business. It takes a truly committed person to be able to grow there business in the right direction.
